Amenity Buildings

 Pentwyn Park & Ride
The site is situated in the Llanrumney area of Cardiff on commonland between the A48 (Eastern Avenue) and the River Rhymney.  The contract included an Amenity Building - design and build of a single storey toilet/security block.

Works included the design, foundations, drainage, cavity wall construction, forticrete stone cladding, kingspan roof and cladding, glazing, all joinery works. Mechanical, electrical and ventilation works (first and second fix), plaster boarding and skimming, floors, decoration, wall tiling, sanitary ware, cycle racks, door stops and roller shutters.

The scheme also included the construction of the main access road to the site off the A48 via the Pentwyn Interchange, earthworks and flood compensation measures, landscaping, drainage, service diversions and new service connections to the site, distributor roads and parking facilities, street lighting and CCTV, kerbing and tarmacadam surfacing.

Brewery Yard, Abergavenny
The kiosk is part of the regeneration scheme at Brewery Yard, Abergavenny and replaces the previous run down facilities.

The kiosk construction is fully insulated cavity wall, local stoned faced construction with a patina copper roof and the outside paved in granite setts.  It is a split level building which houses a cafe and males, female and disabled toilets.  All works undertaken by our in-house resources including; mechanical and electrical services, joinery finishing and stone masonry.

Salisbury Park & Ride
The works consisted of the construction of a new 370 space park and ride facility on the outskirts of Salisbury and the provision of a single storey amenity building including furnishing and finishes as well as M&E services.

Associated civil engineering works included the construction of a new retaining wall, street lighting, traffic signs, road marking, drainage, fencing, significant earthworks and landscaping and full road pavement construction.
