Road Construction and Bridgeworks
We have wide-ranging expertise in all aspects of highway work. Our experience includes: annual term maintenance contracts; major repairs and maintenance on motorways, trunk roads and principal roads, the construction of new roads and access ways for development, roundabouts, bridgeworks, bridge repairs, traffic management schemes.
Infrastructure for Industrial Development and Retail Parks
We construct complete infrastructure schemes for industrial and commercial parks, from initial land reclamation right through to soft landscaping, taking in land filling, roads, footways and drainage systems, even creating ornamental and amenity lakes. And our Building Division can provide the buildings too.
Sewerage, Sewage Disposal and Surface Water Drainage
If it’s to do with sewerage infrastructure or water management, then we can construct, upgrade or repair it. Large precast concrete culverts, major sewage disposal plants including reed beds, urban sewer networks, storm overflow schemes, flood prevention, major sewer and river works, land and surface water drainage – we do it all.
Land Reclamation & Contaminated Land
Transforming derelict and contaminated land into safe sites for housing, leisure and industry, we clear contaminated land, fill and make good, cap mineshafts and install foul and surface water drainage, bringing the land back into use. We also construct environmental protection systems for landfill sites, such as lining, gas dispersal systems and leachate and surface water drainage.
Canals & Waterways
British Waterways have employed our expertise on many canal and aqueduct projects, including maintenance and remedial works, renovation of sensitive historic aqueducts and major projects to bring canals back into use. For rivers, we are experienced in training and armouring, tidal river wall and revetment works, large diameter culverts and flood alleviation schemes.
